Meet Nizamullah, an 11-year-old boy from a poor family of six in the remote village of Darel, Jadduri, Gilgit Baltistan. His father, Rehmat Shah, is 80 years old and blind, making it extremely difficult for the family to make ends meet with their limited resources. Despite these hardships, Nizamullah’s spirit remains unbroken.
Nizamullah studies in grade 5 at Shaheed Imran Ali School, where he shines brightly among his 36 classmates. His favorite subject is English, and his teachers often praise his exceptional ability to grasp concepts quickly and his enthusiasm for writing. His dream is to study further and become a teacher, hoping to inspire and educate others in his community.
After school, Nizamullah goes to the mosque for his religious studies. Upon returning home, he assists his mother with household chores, demonstrating his strong sense of responsibility and dedication to his family.
Nizamullah’s story is a testament to the resilience and determination that can flourish even in the face of adversity. With the right support and opportunities, children like Nizamullah can achieve their dreams and bring positive change to their communities.
