Imtiaz Ahmed, a bright 10-year-old from a small village, has big dreams and an even bigger heart. Studying in Grade 6 at Shaheed Yasirullah TAKMIL School since May 2022, Imtiaz is not only dedicated to his education but also to improving the lives of those around him. With six siblings and a love for English, Imtiaz understands that education is key to growth and communication in today’s world.
Before joining TAKMIL, Imtiaz faced the challenge of convincing his parents of the value of education. In a village where the importance of schooling wasnโt always recognized, he fought for the opportunity to learn. Now, he attends school with excitement every day, cherishing the chance to sit with his classmates and learn together.
His favorite part of school? Learning from his favorite teacher, Abdul Malik, who guides him in both religious and curriculum studies. Outside of school, Imtiaz helps his siblings with their studies and even assists his father with work, using his bike mechanic skills to lend a hand when needed.
Recently, Imtiaz made his community proud by winning 3rd prize in the Naat competition on International Literacy Day, hosted by the Directorate of Literacy and Non-Formal Education in Quetta, Balochistan.
Imtiaz dreams of becoming a teacher, knowing that education is the foundation of a better future for his society. Heโs driven by the simplicity and kindness of his village, and he is determined to give back by guiding the next generation to understand the value of education, just as he did.
With his dedication, resilience, and the support of TAKMIL, Imtiaz is well on his way to transforming not just his own life, but the future of his community.
